Season 2 Episode 4: Wayne went to a LUG

After a jolly old game of darts, Wayne reports from his night out at a Linux User Group where he learned how to compile a Linux kernel on a Raspberry Pi. Andy has a cold but soldiers on selflessly.

S02E03

Another dose of UER has arrived!

Among our selection of stuff this time are:

Old software still going strong: STSPLUS
tmux, the terminal multiplexer. It is hard to explain just by talking, it is likely easier understood if you see it in use so here is a Youtube video that goes through the important features and commands.
Handbrake: open source video transcoder
AutoGK: old school video encoder for Xvid and Divx conversion
BBC News: The $100,000 game cartridge
Andy's Happy Friday (annoyingly, this week's edition did not publish due to an ISP outage, it didn't seem right to send it on Saturday when everything resumed)
The "wicks" playlist on Spotify
Debian's net install
VMWare ESXi
Arch Linux

Enjoy!
